G-Max flapper valve
This is a factory replacement for the Toto G-Max toilet. It is easy to install and it works like the original which is excellent. It does wear out in a few years 5 in my experience and needs to be replaced. I have never replaced the fill valve just the flapper valve. Perhaps a generic replacement of the same size (larger than standard) works equally well. I have no experience with a generic valve you can pick up at your local hardware store. These Toto valves are hard to find locally.

Yes! Toto replacement part found.
Toto makes the best toilets but finding replacement parts is a pain. Home Depot and Ace dont stock them. (Lowes might but Ive not checked.) I give it 4 stars because I think the test of time is the best one and I just installed this. (The original Toto part warped for some reason and would not seal after about a year of light usage.) The quality of this part is pretty obvious. The rubber just feels "right." :2010-09-15 11:33:45
